Can customers pay inside WhatsApp?
Yes, once Meta has switched WhatsApp payments on for your account. Customers then pay by UPI, card or netbanking without leaving the chat, through Razorpay, PayU or Zaakpay, and the money goes to your gateway account. Until then, or alongside it, you can use Razorpay payment links and cash on delivery.
Do I need a website to sell on WhatsApp?
No. Products can come from a CSV or Excel sheet or be added one by one, and Ohanvi makes the WhatsApp catalog for you. If you do have a Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix or Zoho Commerce store, connect it and its orders appear in the same Store.
Does it send GST invoices?
Yes. Add your business details and every WhatsApp order gets a GST invoice, sent to the customer when it is paid or confirmed. If you are not registered for GST, invoices go as bills of supply.
Which couriers does it work with?
Shiprocket connects in Integrations → Delivery partners, and Store → Shipping books and tracks parcels with it. You can also ship with your own riders, or with any courier by entering its name and AWB, and the customer gets the tracking link either way.
What does the WhatsApp Store cost?
Setting it up yourself from the portal is free; our team can set it up for you for ₹1,999 plus GST, one-time. After that, its order updates, bills and reminders are WhatsApp service messages: Meta’s first 1,000 a month on each number are free, then Meta’s service rate plus your plan’s percentage. Your payment gateway and courier charge their own fees.
